September 12 is Rally Day
“My Word! The Bible for Everyone”
Join us on September 12th for Rally Day
festivities! Worship at either 8:30 or 11 am. At
9:45 everyone is invited to the Fellowship Hall
where students can register for Sunday School,
make a paper chain of favorite Bible stories and
verses, and a enjoy a visit from Martin Luther.
Rotation Sunday School is a wonderful way for children to learn Bible stories. Each story is presented in a variety of formats: video, story telling, group drama, games, and art project.
On September 18th the story of brothers, Cain and Abel, begins with the Veggie Tales video, God Wants Me to Forgive Them!?! Children will meet the "Grapes of Wrath" and learn a lesson in forgiveness!
Youth Sunday is September 26.
GHELC upper elementary and high school youth are worship assistants in September. The Come, Let Us Worship! Service which includes familiar camp songs is used. We also receive 2nd Offering, “Your pocket coins and bills help feed hungry people in Butte and around the world.”

October 3 is 3 Year Old & 3rd Grade Bible Presentation Sunday
These children receive age-appropriate Bibles as a gift from this congregation and the GHELC Trust.

An ELCA Montana Synod Outreach Event
WHEN: Friday afternoon, October 8, 2010
and continues through Saturday, October 9.
WHERE: Red Lion Colonial Hotel, Helena
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: All who seek
to share God’s Story in new and fresh ways.
The Good News of Jesus is not something to keep to ourselves but is meant to be shared.
Learn about hospitality, evangelism, stewardship, and reaching out to young adults. Learn new ways of sharing the Gospel through presentations, prayer, worship, Bible study, workshops and shared meals.
Congregations who bring a group of people not only save money with a group rate, they also build a common experience and renewed vision.
If this weekend sounds interesting to you, please speak to Pastor Larry. Pick up a brochure in the church office.
